Ayrshire is filled with all the best that Scotland can
offer, hospitality, history, culture and of course golf.
The championship courses at Turnberry and Royal
Troon present a stiff challenge to all levels of golfer.
The coast is lined with some of Scotland's most
picturesque fishing towns.
The village of Dunure was once the centre of the
"Arran Water" trade - whisky smuggling, ensuring
employment for Scotland's most famous excise-man
Robert Burns. You can visit the famous Brig 'O' Doon,
immortalised in Burns' famous Poem
Tam 'O' Shanter. |
